
The village of Peyia is situated approximately 19 km northwest of Paphos. The village possesses picturesque fountains and an attractive stone-paved village square. A short distance from Peyia one will find the ruins of several early Christian Basilicas with beautiful mosaic floors depicting animals.
The majority of Peyias amenities are located on the main road leading into the village. It is possible to find everything from a chemist, a bakery serving delicious hot bread first thing in the morning and a butcher. There is also a selection of tavernas to choose from, serving a variety of local dishes.
