The emergency healthcare system in Bulgaria will be completely restored, said Bulgarian Health Minister Radoslav Gaidarski.
At the moment, the plan for restoring Bulgaria's medical centers, which will cost an estimated 70 million leva, is being drafted.
EU structural funds will provide the sum.
The minister made this announcement during a ceremony to initiate a force of 34 off-road ambulances to 28 Bulgarian medical centers, worth three million leva, according to Focus news agency.
With this programme, Bulgaria expects to update its medical centers to standards similar to those across Europe and Asia.
